Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program is an exchange programme for entrepreneurs financed by the European Union. It offers young entrepreneurs the opportunity to work alongside an experienced entrepreneur in another European Union country and thereby share experiences and strengthen skills to develop both businesses. The exchange lasts for between one and six months and the new entrepreneur recieves a grant to cover the main part of expences during the exchange.

Project Green EYE has received funding from the European Union's COSME Programme (2014-2020).

Why and how

Young Entrepreneurs:

Why: As a would-be or newly established entrepreneur, you can find yourself at crossroads. You need first hand guidance. On-the-job training with an experienced entrepreneur will help answer your questions and prepare you to run your own company successfully.

How: The programme is run by a network of local contact points, including Chambers of Commerce, incubators and other organisations supporting businesses, present in the different European Union countries. After you fill in your online application and get accepted for the programme, the contact point you will have chosen in our country will provide you with support and assistance to find your host entrepreneur. You will also receive practical assistance during your stay abroad. For more information about contact points in your country, please visit “Your local contact point” on the programme’s website.

Host Entrepreneurs:

Why: You can get input from the fresh ideas and new skills of a motivated new entrepreneur. You can tap into the knowledge of other European markets and develop your international contacts, without moving from your office. The exchange could be the starting point to find new opportunities for your business.

How: The programme is run by a network of local contact points, including Chambers of Commerce, incubators and other organisations that support businesses present in the different European Union countries. Once you have completed your online application and get accepted for the programme, the contact point you will have chosen in your country will help you to find a new entrepreneur that matches your requirements. The new entrepreneur will spend time at your company, contributing to its development, while you will be sharing your entrepreneurial experience with them. This will be a personal commitment you cannot delegate to someone else. There is a contact point near you that can help you throughout your application. To find it, go to your local contact point on the website.
