Day 1: August 16, 09.00 – 16.00
Creative problem-solving
You will learn and use methods that will enable you to:
Create new solutions to problems that are expressed by individuals, the market or society as such
Create new ideas for problems that have not been expressed e.g. a business idea for an unspoken market demand or a better way of organizing processes in your own organization – public or private
Create new approaches to already existing business ideas. If you already have a business idea, revising it for maximum value creation potential could be a possibility
The creation process takes a starting point in a real-life business challenge that needs a creative approach.
The challenge is presented by Thorkil Baatrup-Andersen, Dolle A/S, one of the world´s leading manufacturers of attic ladders.
Dolle A/S has formed an innovation network supported by Aalborg University. The network includes companies from furniture design and manufacturing, window manufacturing, the construction industry, actuator manufacturers, and smart-house software developers.
From a 2D approach to a 3D approach to living space
The partners have formed a network with the purpose of innovating on the approach of living space. Instead of thinking of the space of your home in square meters and floor plans, they want users to think of their homes in space and cubic meters – and they need our creative input for both products, market and business model.
